LANCASTER, Texas -- The Lancaster ISD Instructional Services Department hosted the 9th annual Hispanic Heritage Bowl on Saturday, October 15, 2022. Student teams from across the elementary and secondary campuses competed in an academic quiz bowl while other students from each grade level submitted original artwork for the art contest.
During the bowl, parents and families painted masterpieces, sat for caricatures, toured the Hall of Cultures, participated in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) challenges, learned salsa dancing, and viewed the student's artwork in the gallery. The event was a fantastic way to conclude the district's Hispanic Heritage Month celebrations.
