Lancaster ISD is proud to partner with United Way for the Dollars for College Program. Dollars for College is a children’s savings account program that helps you save money for your child’s future college or vocational training expenses after high school.

The program helps families get an early start on college savings and better understand the connection between higher education and well-paying jobs that have benefits and long-term career opportunities.

The program is open to all students from Pre-K through fifth grade. For each student enrolled in the program, $50 will be placed in an account. Parents have the opportunity to earn up to $400 in college savings for their child(ren).

Here’s how:

  • $50 seed money for opening the account
  • $50 bonus deposit for opening the account by May 31, 2022
  • $25 for each deposit that you make into the account during this school year, up to $100
  • $25 for each deposit that you make into the account during the 2022-2023 school year, up to $100
  • $25 for each deposit that you make into the account during the 2023-2024 school year, up to $100
