This week, Lancaster ISD has been represented well internationally by our superintendent of schools, Dr. A. Katrise Perera! 🌎

The Korea Science Creation Foundation (Chairman Jo Yul-rae) has successfully held the ‘Korea-U.S. Science and Technology (STEM) Human Resource Training Exchange Seminar’ with top public education experts in the United States.

The U.S. delegation was attended by a total of 23 people, including Lancaster ISD Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Perera, former New York City Education Director of Roseporter, Messiah and Director of Virgin Islands Education, as well as heads of education in nine U.S. states.

The seminar was held with the Creative Foundation to exchange science and technology (STEM) talent development between Korea, while showing interest in Korea's science, mathematics, information, and STEAM education policies and school-site examples.
