July 15, 2026, Lancaster ISD/Lancaster, TX--The Lancaster ISD Board of Trustees has approved the appointment of Connie Wallace as the district's new Chief of Communications, Marketing, and Community Engagement.
Wallace brings nearly 30 years of experience in public education and executive leadership, with expertise in communications, marketing, community engagement, government relations, and strategic planning. Most recently, she served as Area Chief of Schools for Grand Prairie ISD and previously served as Chief Communications Officer for Duncanville ISD, where she led the district's communications, branding, enrollment marketing, and community engagement efforts.
Throughout her career, Wallace has supported campuses and led communications and marketing efforts, coordinated district events, supported enrollment initiatives, and worked to strengthen communication with families, staff, and the community. She has also received multiple Texas School Public Relations Association awards recognizing her work in school communications.
As Chief of Communications, Wallace will lead Lancaster ISD's Communications Department and oversee marketing, media relations, digital communications, and community engagement initiatives. In this role, she will continue to strengthen communication with families, staff, and the community while supporting the district's mission of preparing every student for success.
