June 8, 2026, Lancaster ISD/Lancaster, TX--Whether it's on television, social media, or sports talk radio, NIL has become the center of conversation in college athletics. Recognizing the growing impact of Name, Image and Likeness opportunities, Lancaster High School is taking proactive steps to educate and empower its student-athletes through real-world learning experiences and expert guidance.
As a summer learning experience, Lancaster ISD partnered with Student Success Agency to bring The NIL Experience to Lancaster High School's 10th-12th grade football players. This experience equips high school athletes with the financial literacy, NIL knowledge, and decision-making skills they need before the offers, money, and spotlight arrive.
Lancaster ISD is the first district to provide this opportunity to its student-athletes and will expand the educational opportunity to all student-athletes in the fall.
Special guest speaker Ben Coleman, Big 12 Champion and former Division I team captain, shared powerful lessons on leadership, resilience, personal branding, and maximizing opportunities in the NIL era, challenging students to think beyond the game and start building their legacy today.
