January 22,2026, Lancaster ISD/Lancaster, TX – Lancaster ISD is proud to announce Shanee Charles as the Director of Human Resources. Mrs. Charles brings more than 23 years of experience supporting K–12 public education and organizational operations.
Recently she served as the Human Resources Recruitment Coordinator where she led districtwide recruitment, built strategic partnerships with colleges and educator preparation programs, and supported employee relations across the district.
Her background includes campus leadership as a principal, people operations management in the private sector, and a strong record of improving staff retention, campus performance, and operational efficiency. Ms. Charles is a bilingual, people-centered leader committed to building strong, compliant, and supportive school systems.
