January 7, 2026, Lancaster ISD/Lancaster TX-- Lancaster ISD is proud to announce that Cherish Pipkins will be stepping into a new role as the Executive Director of Human Resources. Mrs. Pipkins brings two decades of experience in public education, including campus and district leadership in human resources.
Recently she served as the Director of Human Capital and Strategic Initiatives where she oversaw recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, professional learning, and policy development. Before joining the central office team, she served as principal of Rolling Hills Elementary, where the campus earned multiple distinctions and national recognition for innovative practices.
A former LISD classroom teacher, she continues to invest in developing future leaders and currently serves as Chairperson for the 2025 Texas Alliance of Black School Educators Demonstration Schools. Mrs. Pipkins is a proud Lancaster High School alumna who exudes Tiger pride each day. We look forward to her leadership of the Lancaster ISD Human Resources Department.
