Board Meeting Schedule

The Lancaster ISD Board Meeting Schedule for 2026-2027 is provided below. Regular Board meetings will now start at 6:30 p.m. Closed Sessions have been moved to the end of the meeting instead of the beginning. This change will help ensure the timely handling of board matters.

 Regular Board meetings are held in the Boardroom Auditorium of the Lancaster ISD Central Administration Building at 422 S. Centre Ave., Lancaster, Texas 75146. Called Board meetings are scheduled as needed at 6:00 p.m., unless otherwise noted. Meeting agendas are posted three business days before the scheduled meeting date, in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act.

Board Work Session Schedule

As part of the plan and to improve board meeting efficiency, the board has introduced board work sessions. These sessions are meant for in-depth discussions on important matters, allowing regular board meetings to focus mainly on decision-making. 

Lancaster ISD work sessions will be held on the second Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the Lancaster ISD administration building. The meetings will be conducted in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act.
