Regular board meetings begin at 6 pm with a one-hour closed session, and the regular board meeting begins at 7 pm. This change will help ensure the timely handling of business matters.
Regular meetings are held in the Boardroom Auditorium of the Lancaster ISD Central Administration Building located at 422 S. Centre Ave., Lancaster, Texas 75146. Called Board Meetings are scheduled as needed at 6:00 pm unless otherwise noted. Meeting agendas are posted 72 hours in advance in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act.

Board Meeting Work Session Dates
Work Session Dates
As part of the plan and to improve board meeting efficiency, the board has introduced board work sessions. These sessions are meant for in-depth discussions on important matters, allowing regular board meetings to focus mainly on decision-making.
Lancaster ISD work sessions will be held on the second Wednesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. in the Lancaster ISD administration building. The meetings will be conducted in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act.
