Christopher Rose, Lancaster STEM High School Principal

Lancaster ISD is proud to announce the appointment of Christopher Rose as the new principal of Lancaster STEM High School.
Rose is an experienced educational leader with a strong background in instructional leadership, campus operations, and building positive school cultures. In his current role as principal of Everman High School, Rose has demonstrated success in leading instructional systems, supporting staff development, strengthening communication among stakeholders, and fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Prior to his principalship, Mr. Rose served as an assistant principal in a Best Southwest high school, where he focused on student support systems, equitable discipline practices, teacher coaching, and academic improvement efforts. He played a key role in implementing processes that reduced student referrals by 50% and supported a culture of accountability and student success.
Rose is committed to collaborative leadership, community engagement, and creating opportunities for students and staff to thrive. His experience in instructional leadership, staff management, and school improvement aligns with the district’s commitment to excellence and continuous growth. We are pleased to welcome Mr. Rose to Lancaster ISD.
Ronald Carter, Executive Director of Finance
Lancaster ISD is proud to announce that Ronald Carter has been named Executive Director of Finance for Lancaster ISD. Mr. Carter is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in financial reporting, governmental accounting, budget support, and operational financial management within public education.
Prior to joining Lancaster ISD, Mr. Carter served in several financial leadership roles in other school districts, including Director of Finance, Senior Accountant, and Staff Accountant. Throughout his career, he has successfully led critical financial initiatives, including year-end audit coordination, grant reporting, capital asset management, financial reconciliations, and the implementation of effective accounting processes. His experience includes partnering with cross-functional teams, supporting budget development, strengthening financial controls, and providing training to staff to promote fiscal responsibility and operational excellence.
Mr. Carter's depth of experience and proven record of financial stewardship will help support Lancaster ISD's continued commitment to fiscal responsibility and student success.
