March 11, 2024, Lancaster ISD/Lancaster, TX-Lancaster ISD will host a hometown celebration for the UIL 5A Basketball State Champions, the Lancaster High Schools Tigers. The event is free for all community members and scheduled for Wednesday, March 20, 2024, the LHS Coliseum Atrium. The evening will feature music from LHS alumnus DJ Swerve, food, and fun. State Championship shirts will also be available for purchase.

The hometown celebration will be a festive outside event and a chance to honor the hard work of Head Boys Basketball Coach Ferrin Douglas, his coaching staff, and the talented student-athletes. Their dedication brought the championship home to the City of Lancaster and has made the community proud.
