April 9, 2026, Lancaster ISD/Lancaster, TX -- Lancaster ISD is excited to announce the opening of Early Childhood registration for the 2026-2027 school year. Online registration for the district’s Early Childhood programs will open Wednesday, April 1 at www.lancasterisd.org/earlychildhood. On this date, parents/guardians can submit pre-applications and register for Pre-K 3, Pre-K 4, Head Start, and Kindergarten.
Pre-K and Head Start Information
Students who will turn three or four years of age by September 1, 2026, can pre-register and complete the pre-application process for Pre-K 3, Pre-K 4, and Head Start online at www.lancasterisd.org/earlychildhood. The pre-application is online and will require WI-FI access and a technology device (computer, laptop, tablet) to complete. Families needing internet access to complete the pre-application process may visit the district’s enrollment center to complete the pre-application.
Upon completing the online pre-application, families must bring required documents to the Lancaster ISD Enrollment Center (1201 N. Dallas Ave., Lancaster, TX, 75146) Monday - Friday between 8:00 AM and 11:30 AM.
New-to-District Kindergarten Information
Students who will turn five years of age by September 1, 2026, and will be new to Lancaster ISD can register for Kindergarten online at www.lancasterisd.org/earlychildhood. The registration process is online and will require WI-FI access and a technology device (computer, laptop, tablet) to complete. Families needing internet access to complete the kindergarten registration process may visit the district’s enrollment center to complete the registration process.

Please note that current Pre-K students in Lancaster ISD will not need to register for kindergarten during this time.

We invite parents to register and attend a parent informational meeting to learn about our early childhood programs and what to expect in the upcoming school year. Parents may attend either meeting. See meeting location, dates and times below:
West Main Elementary - April 30, 2026 (5:30 PM - 6:30 PM)
Belt Line Elementary - May 7, 2026 (5:30 PM - 6:30 PM)
