March 23, 2026, Lancaster ISD/Lancaster, TX -- The Lancaster ISD Special Education Department is proud to invite students, families, and community stakeholders to the Transition & Community Resource Fair on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Lancaster STEM High School.
This engaging event is designed to connect families and students with valuable resources that support successful transitions from high school to adulthood. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore a wide range of services and supports, including employment services, college and postsecondary opportunities, healthcare options, funding resources, and long-term support programs.
In addition, representatives from Texas Workforce Solutions and various community organizations will be on-site to provide guidance, answer questions, and share tools to help students and families plan for the future with confidence. Specialized programming, including day habilitation services and autism-focused activities such as Chase’s World, will also be featured.
The event is open to all Lancaster ISD stakeholders and community members who are interested in learning more about life after high school for students receiving special education services. Families are encouraged to attend and take advantage of the opportunity to connect directly with service providers and support networks.
To make the morning even more enjoyable, the event will also include a car show, food trucks, and local vendors, creating a welcoming and family-friendly atmosphere.
