Lancaster ISD/Lancaster, TX --If you’re from Dallas and active on social media, chances are you’ve come across the viral sensation known as Most Wanted Nuke. His online personality has built a following across the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex and beyond by being unapologetically Dallas. He highlights local restaurants, landmarks, schools, and community culture while creating content on location and is best known for coining his catch phrase, “If you from Dallas!”
Most recently, Nuke brought personality and energy to Lancaster High School (LHS), where he joined students, parents, and staff at the LHS football game and tailgate.
“Several people in our district follow Nuke on social media and have been entertained by his viral videos,” said Kimberly Simpson, Lancaster ISD Chief of Communications. “But, we have to thank our Deputy Superintendent, Dr. Cassandra Barker, who took it a step further and invited him to a Lancaster High School football game after seeing his video about LHS. After Dr. Barker made that connection, I followed up to confirm his visit to our tailgate and game, and now we are locked in with him. He is welcomed in Tiger Land at any time.”
The connection led to Nuke’s surprise appearance at the annual Kindergarten Tailgate, a tradition that welcomes the district’s youngest learners and their families to the LHS Tiger Stadium. The event gives kindergartners and their parents a chance to enjoy the excitement of a high school tailgate and game, often for the first time. Families also take part in the tailgate vendor fair and can sign up for a college savings plan account through their school during the event.
True to his outgoing personality, Nuke quickly became part of the tailgate event. Students, parents, and staff recognized him immediately, and he embraced the role of team player while running onto the field with the kindergarten students, engaging with student organizations, filming content, and expressing gratitude for the warm reception.
“It was a good time. I felt like everyone was family in Lancaster ISD. Family means everything to me and the district made me and my family feel like we were at our family reunion,” Nuke shared.
LHS students shared the same sentiments.
“It was a well-rounded experience for me. Having someone so popular coming to support our school was great. When I saw him, I asked him to support our culinary department with a promo video, he did it without hesitation,” Senior Culinary Arts Student Michael W. explained. “It made me feel accomplished because I personally reached out to him to attend and had no idea the district was already in contact with him to attend the football game. I was surprised when he showed up.”
Michael’s excitement reflected the energy felt at the stadium as students embraced the opportunity to connect with a local influencer who took time to engage with them.
“Our students lit up when Nuke showed up. He jumped right in, supported our student groups, and really made the event feel special,” Simpson expressed. “The reaction we have received on social media has been extremely positive. You can tell that he genuinely is a funny person and cares about the relationships he is forming as his notoriety continues to rise. We wish him the best of luck.”
As Lancaster ISD continues to find creative ways to build community connections, students and staff say Nuke’s visit was a highlight of the Kindergarten Tailgate experience.
