October 17, 2025, Lancaster ISD/Lancaster, TX - The pride of Lancaster ISD was on full display early Friday morning as several Lancaster High School student organizations represented the district during WFAA Daybreak’s live broadcast from Tiger Stadium indoor facility. Ahead of the highly anticipated football matchup against Duncanville, Lancaster’s students brought the energy, talent, and Tiger spirit that define the #WEBONation community.
The Tiger Marching Band kicked off the morning with performances that viewers across North Texas were able watch live. From the steady rhythm of the drumline to the precision of the band’s movements, their showmanship embodied the excellence the LHS band is known for.
Joining the celebration were members of the Lancaster High School Fine Arts department, Athletics department, and various student organizations, each contributing to the electric atmosphere. Their enthusiasm showcased the unity and school pride that run deep throughout the district.
“The amount of school spirit that this community exhibits is amazing to me,” said Lancaster ISD Superintendent of Schools, Dr. A.K. Perera. “We are on Fall Break this week and you can see how many students have come out to celebrate. We don’t just come together to cheer, we come together to strengthen our Tiger pride, and it’s really hard to hide.”
As the sun rose over Tiger Stadium, one thing was clear, Lancaster High School’s students are more than performers and athletes; they are ambassadors of excellence. Their appearance on WFAA Daybreak highlighted school culture, the dedication of staff and students, and the community spirit that makes Lancaster high school a great place to learn.
With the spotlight shining bright, LHS was proud to showcase the very best during the live Daybreak Pep Rally, even if call time was before 5:00 AM.
