In observance of Juneteenth, all Lancaster ISD district offices and campuses will be closed on Wednesday, June 19. We will resume summer school and normal operating hours on Thursday, June 20.

January 22, 2024, LANCASTER, TX--Notice is hereby given that the Lancaster Independent School District Board of Trustees will hold a public hearing to discuss the 2023 Texas Academic Performance Report (TAPR). The hearing will be held February 6, 2024 at 5:00 pm in the boardroom at the Lancaster ISD Administration Building (422 S. Centre Avenue.) The purpose of the hearing is to review district and campus student performance on the TAPR indicators and to provide descriptive performance information for the district and state on students, staff, and finance.

Lancaster ISD district offices and campuses will be closed on Monday, September 4, in observance of Labor Day. We will welcome students and staff back to school on Tuesday, September 5.

UPDATE: Start times for the Freshman, JV, and Varsity football games this week have been pushed back due to outside temperatures. Visit www.lancasterisd.org/tickets to purchase tickets. Please take note of the changes: 8/24 Freshman - 6:30 p.m. 8/24 JV - 7 p.m. 8/25 Varsity - 7:30 p.m.

Weather Update: Thursday, March 2, 2023 Due to the inclement weather predicted in our area this evening, all after-school activities and athletic events are canceled. Please note that all campuses will still dismiss at their regular dismissal time. Please stay alert and safe this evening. Thank you, Lancaster ISD

All Lancaster ISD campuses and offices will be closed on Monday, February 20, 2023. We will welcome students and staff back to school on Tuesday, February 21, 2023.

We are monitoring the weather and the National Weather Service predicts strong to severe thunderstorms in our area between 2:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. If inclement weather is in progress during our campus dismissal times, we will allow our student walkers to remain inside the campus building until the weather clears or the student is picked up by their parent/guardian. Also, if the weather impacts bus drop-offs, your child's campus will communicate that information to you directly. Schools will also have staff who will remain on campus until all students are picked-up or transported home. We understand that your child's safety is your top priority. If you wish to pick up your student early, please do so at 1:00 p.m. and follow the campus check-out procedures. Thank you, Lancaster ISD

All Lancaster ISD campuses will have an early dismissal on Wednesday, August 24, 2022. Secondary campuses will release at 12 p.m. and elementary will release at 1 p.m.
