September 15, 2025, Lancaster ISD/Lancaster, TX -- Lancaster ISD is proud to join the national observance of National Hispanic Heritage Month, recognized each year from September 15 through October 15. The month-long celebration honors the achievements, culture, and contributions of Hispanic Americans who have shaped history and continue to inspire future generations.

This year’s theme, “Collective Heritage: Honoring the Past, Inspiring the Future,” emphasizes the importance of reflecting on history while embracing the traditions and values that strengthen communities.

To mark the occasion, Lancaster ISD has launched a district-wide video campaign featuring students and staff members from every campus. Throughout the month, the district will share a “Hispanic Heritage Fact of the Day” on social media, with participants highlighting influential figures, cultural traditions, and historical milestones. The campaign is designed to educate, engage, and celebrate the rich heritage that contributes to the district’s diverse community.

Lancaster ISD remains committed to fostering an inclusive environment where the diverse backgrounds of students, staff, and families are honored and celebrated.
