April 14, 2025, Lancaster ISD/Lancaster, TX -- Lancaster ISD kicked off STAAR testing season with an electrifying pep rally as third, fourth, and fifth-grade students declared “I Believe In Myself!”
“This is an event we started five years ago,” stated Belt Line Elementary Executive Principal, Ta-Tanisha Stevenson. “It has been a great event every year. The kids are excited, and this is something they will remember for years to come.”
The pep rally featured student performances from all elementary campuses, the Lancaster High School Varsity Cheerleaders, the Lancaster Tiger Marching Band, and a special performance featuring the elementary campus principals.
The pep rally was energetic and exciting, with students and faculty cheering and dancing to music. With the support of their teachers and classmates, students will build confidence ahead of the STAAR. In addition, the pep rally provided a place for students to share their enthusiasm about the exam and inspire their peers to perform their best.
