Provides food and other services for families in financial crisis
The Child Protective Services Division investigates reports of abuse and neglect of children. It also:
Provides services to children and families in their own homes;
Places children in foster care;
Provides services to help youth in foster care make the transition to adulthood; and
Places children in adoptive homes.
North Texas Food Bank is a nonprofit hunger relief organization that distributes donated, purchased and prepared foods through a network of 1184 feeding programs in 13 North Texas counties.
The Role of the School Counselor
Today's school counselors are vital members of the educational team. They help all students in the areas of academic achievement, personal/social development and career development, ensuring today's students become the productive, well-adjusted adults of tomorrow.
At Rolling Hills, the school counselor is available to consult with parents and teachers, provides individual counseling and group counseling as needed for students, teaches guidance lessons and provides support in a variety of ways campus-wide.
