Lancaster ISD names Chief Financial Officer

Lancaster ISD is pleased to announce Todd Garrison has been named the new Chief Financial Officer. In his role, Garrison will direct and manage the operation of all financial and business affairs of the district, including accounting, payroll, purchasing, risk management, and tax collection, to enhance teaching and learning. He’ll also serve as the chief financial adviser to the superintendent and board of trustees.

“I am honored to serve the students, staff, and community of Lancaster ISD. I look forward to building on the strong traditions of success and being a part of a team that aspires for excellence in education.”

Previously, Garrison served as the Assistant Superintendent of Finance for Kaufman Independent School District, where he supervised and led all financial personnel, including accounts payable, payroll, treasury, food service liaison, and federal grants.

He's also served as superintendent for Davis Public Schools, Lone Grove Public Schools, and Cashion Public Schools in Oklahoma. Garrison is a member of the Texas Association of School Business Officials and the Texas Association of School Administrators.

Lancaster ISD Superintendent, Dr. A. Katrise Perera, says Garrison will be an asset to the district leadership team. 

“I welcome Mr. Garrison to our Lancaster ISD family and look forward to him working to ensure we maintain being good stewards of taxpayers' dollars,” said Perera. “Mr. Garrison’s extensive knowledge and expertise in educational finance will be a tremendous asset to our district as we continue to strive for the highest standard of financial accountability.”

Garrison received his master’s of education from the University of Oklahoma and his bachelor’s degree from Southwestern Oklahoma State University.
