The Special Education Department in Lancaster ISD, in collaboration with parents, is committed to addressing the needs of all students, by adhering to federal regulations, state law, and local operating guidelines.Areas of EligibilityWe are prepared to serve students elgible for Special Education in any of the 13 eligiblity categories recognized by TEA:-

Related Services, Training, and Support
Related and support services are availanle for those students who meet special education eligibility requirements. These services may be required to assist a child with a disability to benefit from a special education.
If the need for a related service is suspected, the evaluation must be planned in an ARD. Related services inlcude transportation and such developmental, corrective, and other support services as are required to assist a child with a disability to benefit from special education.
