Local hospitals also assess patients in their emergency room for medical issues and are able to provide mental health evaluations if deemed necessary.

Mobile Crisis Outreach Teams (MCOTs) provide face-to-face clinical assessments to individuals in crisis 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The purpose of the clinical assessment is to determine an individual’s risk of harm to him/herself or to others, and to determine the least restrictive treatment setting in which an individual can safely receive mental health services.

Suicide Prevention Treatment:
SPARC: Suicide Prevention and Resilience at Children’s Health is an intensive outpatient multidisciplinary, program for youth at risk for suicidal behaviors who are stable and safe and can receive care while attending school and remaining in their home.
