    Local hospitals also assess patients in their emergency room for medical issues and are able to provide mental health evaluations if deemed necessary.

    Mobile Crisis Outreach Teams (MCOTs) provide face-to-face clinical assessments to individuals in crisis 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The purpose of the clinical assessment is to determine an individual’s risk of harm to him/herself or to others, and to determine the least restrictive treatment setting in which an individual can safely receive mental health services.

    SPARC: Suicide Prevention and Resilience at Children’s Health is an intensive outpatient multidisciplinary, a program for youth at risk for suicidal behaviors who are stable and safe and can receive care while attending school and remaining in their home.  The program focuses on skill-building and safety planning and provides clinical care, training, and research opportunities to reduce teen suicide.
