The Advanced Placement (AP) Program of the College Board enables students to complete college-level studies at Lancaster High School. AP courses are structured to fortify and develop depth of knowledge, completeness of thought, and synthesis of ideas as AP Exams test these areas.
Goal: To enrich the secondary school experience through the study and application of college-level courses and provide the means by which colleges may grant credit or placement to those individuals with satisfactory AP test scores
Prerequisite: Students should be enrolled in as many Pre-AP/ AP courses during freshman and sophomore years. See counselor upon high school
Requirements: Students must maintain a passing grade of 70 in each AP course each six weeks AP students are required to attend AP prep sessions.
Commitment and contracts are non-negotiable.
