Lancaster ISD will offer face-to-face summer learning opportunities for students in grades Kindergarten through 12th. Lancaster ISD will also provide options for students in special programs (i.e. special education & bilingual). Summer programming will provide students with engaging hands-on accelerated instructional experiences. The goal of summer programs are to provide students with extended learning time in order to mitigate learning gaps, thus improving student academic success. All summer programming will provide transportation for eligible students. Please indicate on the registration form whether your student requires transportation.
June Summer Learning

Bilingual Camp (PK–1st grades)
Camp: Bilingual – English Language Learners Summer Program (face-to-face) (rising PK–1st grades)
Parents of students who qualify will be notified by administration.
When: June 1–24 (Monday–Friday)
Where: Pleasant Run Elementary 427 W. Pleasant Run Road
Time: 8:30am–3:30pm

STEAM Tiger Camp (3rd–8th grades)
STEAM Tiger Camp Experience (rising 3rd–8th grades)
When: June 6–30 (Monday-Thursday) from 8:30am–12:30pm
Where: Elsie Robertson Middle School 822 Pleasant Run Road
Description: We’re welcoming new enrichment vendors the opportunity to provide free STEAM / Social Emotional Learning experiences for LISD students currently in grades 3rd–8th.

CodeHER STEM Camp (6th–8th girls)
Design Connect Create: CodeHER STEM Camp (rising 6th–8th girls)
When: June 27–30 from 9:00am–3:00pm
Where: Elsie Robertson Middle School 822 Pleasant Run Road
Description:
The CodeHER STEM Camp offers hands-on experiences and guidance from female role models, who support girls on their journey toward positive development and emotional intelligence. This camp is for our 6th-8th grade young ladies, who are interested in enriching opportunities and want to be empowered by other leading ladies in STEM.
Register here by April 30th or until spots are filled.

STAAR Boot Camp (9th–12th grades)
STAAR Boot Camp (9th–12th grades)
When: June 6–20 from 9am–1pm (see testing dates: STAAR Retests)
Where: Lancaster High School 200 E. Wintergreen Road
Description: Students who were unsuccessful on EOC exams will have the opportunity to deepen their understanding of the content and retest at the end of Boot Camp.

TSIA2 Boot Camp (9th–11th grades)
TSIA2 Bootcamp (Texas Success Initiative Academy) (9th–11th grades)
When: June 6–9 from 9:00am–1:00pm
Where: Lancaster High School 200 E. Wintergreen Road
Description: The TSIA2 Boot Camp is designed to help students successfully prepare to take the TSIA2 assessment for college entrance and dual credit purposes. Students will take the TSIA2 assessment on June 7th and June 9th. If your child is interested in advanced academic courses, please contact your child’s counselor.

Description: Students will use the APEX program to help recover credits to ensure their trek toward graduation.

Bridge Up Program (Kinder-6th grades)
Camp: “Bridge Up” (HB4545) (K-6th grades)
When: July 25–August 3
Where: Pleasant Run Elementary 427 W. Pleasant Run Road
Description: Are there any math and reading skills you did not quite master? Genres and concepts that need a little more attention? Then the “Bridge Up” Summer Experience is just right for you! You will have the opportunity to practice skills you will encounter during the 1st six weeks of school in a fun and engaging learning environment that will provide you a “Bridge Up” on instruction when school resumes August 15. Come out and experience all that “Bridge Up” has to offer!
”Bridge Up” is for LISD students, who were unsuccessful on either the Reading &/or Math STAAR tests in grades 3rd-6th. Kinder-2nd grade students will be selected by their teacher.
Parents will be notified by their campus, if their child qualifies for this program.
