To slow the spread of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in our community, all Lancaster ISD schools will close indefinitely. This action follows advice from the Dallas County Health and Human Services department (DCHHS).
Hello! My name is Willisa Sassa and I am honored to be the principal of Elsie Robertson Lancaster STEM Middle School.
We welcome you! At LMS, we are a campus that strives for excellence by paving the way in academics, STEM, fine arts, and athletics. Our campus staff works tirelessly impacting and inspiring students to achieve more. We understand the importance and the need for helping students dig deeper within themselves to find a purpose that allows them to be greater than they ever imagined – not only academically, but emotionally and spiritually as well. Ultimately, guiding them towards a path of self-discovery, self-fulfillment, competence in one’s self, a sense of purpose, having compassion for others and an intrinsic motivation to succeed in life even in the face of adversity.
At Elsie Robertson Middle School, we serve more than 1050 7th and 8th-grade students. Our goal is to prepare and equip our students with the tools they need to contribute to and improve their communities. We also aim to empower our students to achieve self-sustaining success and leave a lasting legacy. Doing so will require a collective force of students, parents, district and campus staff, and community partners. Let’s make this a successful year! Our students need and deserve it. Again, welcome to LMS where “We Believe, We Achieve…Every Day, All Day!” Feel free to contact us if you have any questions and/or concerns.
