Hello Parents, Staff, and Community Members,
I am excited about joining the LISD team as the Superintendent of Lancaster ISD and appreciative to the Board for
selecting me for this position. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve you.
I truly believe that by working together we will successfully meet the challenge of creating a premier school
district. My personal mission that drives me is my passion, my understanding, and my knowledge of the
transformative power of a quality education. By working collaboratively with all stakeholders and in partnership
with parents, we can ensure that our students have access to the best educational system possible - one that is
rigorous and prepares our students to do much more tomorrow than what they can do today. Collectively, we can
ensure that the young men and women who graduate from Lancaster ISD will leave with more than a diploma; they
will leave with choices, opportunities, and the ability to transform their dreams into reality.
During the next 90 days I am committed to “hitting the ground listening and learning.” I am looking forward to learning about the context of the district, the successes, challenges, trends, and opportunities.
